UW and Wyoming APEX Accelerator to Host Capability Statements Webinar June 10

Small-business owners will have an opportunity to learn how to market to government customers Tuesday, June 10.

Janean Forsyth and Sara Mikesell Growney will discuss the subject during a Wyoming APEX Accelerator “Lunch and Learn” webinar titled “Capability Statements and Marketing to Government Customers” from noon-1 p.m. To register, go here. Wyoming APEX Accelerator, part of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network housed at the University of Wyoming, is the state’s expert in government contracting assistance.

The webinar offers attendees guidance on capability statements; navigating in-person matchmaking and networking opportunities; and perfecting the elevator pitch.

Forsyth, Wyoming APEX Accelerator program manager, has a background in compliance, training, human resources and equal employment opportunity. She is passionate about helping small businesses succeed in navigating the world of government contracting.

Mikesell Growney is a procurement adviser for Wyoming APEX Accelerator. She was a decade-long business owner and has experience in marketing, accounting, lobbying, public relations, public policy, grassroots organizing, campaigning and legal work.
