UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Host Webinar on Cybersecurity Mistakes Aug. 28

Small-business owners, entrepreneurs and startups will have an opportunity to learn how to avoid top cybersecurity mistakes that companies make Thursday, Aug. 28.
Paul Johnson and Laura Baker will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar titled “Top 10 Cybersecurity Mistakes Businesses Make” from noon-12:30 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.
The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
During the webinar, attendees will learn about 10 tips to avoid common mistakes businesses make regarding cybersecurity efforts.
Johnson is program manager of the Wyoming SBDC Network’s Cybersecurity Program.
Baker is executive director of CyberWyoming.
