Small-business owners, entrepreneurs and startups will have an opportunity to learn how to strengthen their Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) applications Tuesday, Sept. 9.

Dennis Gilmore will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar titled “Strengthening Your SBIR Application: A Focus on the Commercialization Plan” from noon-1:30 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The webinar will provide an actionable roadmap for crafting a winning plan, breaking down the four core components: defining your commercial opportunity; showcasing your company and team; protecting intellectual property; and outlining a path to market. Attendees will leave with practical tips; a clear understanding of what reviewers are looking for; and the confidence to write a plan that demonstrates true market potential and significantly strengthens your entire application.
