The installation and dedication of a new statue on the University of Wyoming campus
will not take place this week.
“A Deep Seat and a Long Rein” -- a bronze by Chris Navarro, made possible through
a generous gift from the Double 4 Foundation -- is still slated for installation in
the new roundabout at the intersection of Ivinson Avenue and 15th Street. But it’s
not ready for installation this week.
As a result, road closures that had been planned to accommodate the installation and dedication Thursday and Saturday of this week will take place on dates to be announced later.
