The University of Wyoming Alumni Association (UWAA) has announced the winners of the 2025 Homecoming Parade, held Saturday, Oct. 4, as part of UW’s annual Homecoming celebration sponsored by UniWyo Credit Union.

The “Space Cowboy”-themed parade brought together thousands of alumni, friends and community members along the streets of Laramie.

The 2025 parade featured UW alumni Julie (Sandberg) Read and Lori (Sandberg) Wobick as this year’s grand marshals. The sisters, who work for NASA and Boeing, respectively, were selected to underscore the theme and inspire future generations of Pokes to reach for the stars.

Parade entries were evaluated on creativity, execution and theme alignment. The winners are:

Overall winner -- Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Best walking group -- College of Business.

Best use of theme -- UniWyo Credit Union.
