UW’s IMPACT 307 to Host ‘Startup Lunch and Learn’ Webinar About Commercial Banking Partnerships Oct. 16

Startup professionals will have an opportunity to learn how to partner with commercial
banks.
IMPACT 307, a University of Wyoming program, will host a Startup Lunch and Learn webinar
titled “How Commercial Banks Can Partner with Startups” Thursday, Oct. 16, from noon-1
p.m. in Rooms 104 and 106 of the Wyoming Technology Business Center.
Jake Felton, commercial relations manager, and Tanner Evans, branch manager, both
at First Interstate Bank in Laramie, will lead the one-hour panel presentation. The
two will discuss innovative ways banks are moving beyond traditional lending by offering
flexible financing solutions, mentorship and valuable connections to investors and
industry networks. Attendees can learn how these partnerships can help startups strengthen
their financial foundations, scale with confidence and build lasting relationships
with trusted financial partners.
IMPACT 307 is UW’s business incubator that supports the growth of startup incubator
clients and webinar attendees. IMPACT 307 is hosting this event as part of its mission
to boost entrepreneurs with resources and knowledge needed to succeed.
The event is free, but an RSVP is required via QR code here. In-person and webinar attendance options are available. Lunch will be provided for
a maximum of 40 in-person guests. The UW Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
and The Business Studio @LCCC are the luncheon sponsors.
Free parking is available in the two-hour section in the southwest corner of the adjacent
Red Lot or on the street north of the Wyoming Technology Business Center, located
at 1938 E. Harney St.
