Small-business owners, realtors, manufacturers and students will have the opportunity to attend a mini-conference for business and industry Friday, Feb. 20.

The Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network will co-host the event from 9 a.m.-noon at Northwest College, located at 231 W. Sixth St. in Powell. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. To register, go here. The event costs $100 for vendors and $10 for industry leaders. Students can attend for free. Light refreshments and drinks will be provided. College students are welcome, and there will be a bonus track for high school students.

The event is co-hosted by CyberWyoming, the CyberWyoming Alliance, Wyoming Manufacturing Works, Northwest Wyoming Board of REALTORS and the Wyoming Department of Education Career and Technical Education Division.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

During the event, attendees will hear from professionals in real estate, manufacturing and small business about how they’ve tackled cybersecurity challenges. Small-business owners, realtors, manufacturers and students can choose a workshop track tailored to their interests. The day will wrap up with a dynamic, student-led “Ask the Experts” session, where industry leaders answer real questions about careers, safety and cybersecurity.
