Startup founders will have an opportunity to learn about MIT’s 24-step roadmap for building and de-risking business ventures.

IMPACT 307, the University of Wyoming’s business incubator, will host an in-person Startup Lunch and Learn, titled “Introduction to MIT’s Disciplined Entrepreneurship Framework,” Monday, March 9, from noon-1 p.m. in Room 104 of the Wyoming Technology Business Center.

Marcio Barreto, CEO and founder of 3Flux, and Entrepreneur in Residence in the UW College of Business; and Ben Cook, senior assistant dean in the College of Business, will lead the one-hour presentation. During the session, the two will introduce MIT’s Disciplined Entrepreneurship framework and share how it provides a practical, 24-step roadmap for building and de-risking new ventures. They will discuss how this approach is being adopted across Wyoming to strengthen innovation-driven entrepreneurship.

IMPACT 307 is hosting this event as part of its mission to connect founders with resources and programming to help them become effective, efficient and networked entrepreneurs.

The event is free, but an RSVP is required here. Lunch will be provided for a maximum of 40 in-person guests.

Free parking is available in the two-hour section in the southwest corner of the adjacent Red Lot or on the street north of the Wyoming Technology Business Center, located at 1938 E. Harney St. in Laramie.
