Early-stage innovators such as students, researchers, faculty, staff and community
members curious about turning a project into a venture can join the University of
Wyoming Innovation Network Makerspace for a free lunch and information session with
gBETA Wyoming.
The information session on gBETA Wyoming, a free seven-week accelerator program powered
by genr8tor and hosted in partnership with Microsoft, will take place Thursday, March
5, from noon-1 p.m. in the Coe Student Innovation Center in UW’s Coe Library.
During the event, participants will learn more about what gBETA is, who it’s for and
how application and selection works. They also will learn what selected teams receive,
including mentorship, pitch coaching and access to gBETA’s network, as well as how
to move from prototype to startup.
“Whether you’re working on a 3D-printed product, app, immersive media project, engineering
capstone, research innovation or just have an idea, this is a great opportunity to
explore what’s next,” event organizers say.
Space is limited, and registration is required to receive lunch. To register, go here.
