Published March 12, 2026
Small-business owners, entrepreneurs and startups will have the opportunity to learn about cybersecurity insurance Thursday, March 19.
Paul Johnson and Rob Zotti will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar, titled “Cybersecurity Insurance: Who Needs it and How it Can Protect Your Business,” from noon-12:30 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.
The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
During the webinar, attendees will learn what cyber insurance does and doesn’t cover; why certain claims are denied; and what cybersecurity measures you need to have in place to qualify for insurance. Zotti, a licensed cybersecurity insurance provider, will walk attendees through the importance and limitations of cyber insurance and answer questions.
Johnson is the cybersecurity for small business program manager for the Wyoming SBDC Network.
Zotti is a sales executive for HUB International Limited.
