Marketing and Communications Specialist Michaela Doyle, a University of Wyoming Institutional Marketing employee embedded in the College of Arts and Sciences, is the UW staff employee of the year.

The announcement was made during the annual Staff Recognition Day celebration today (Monday) at the Wyoming Union.

The annual event honors the hard-working staff of UW. It provides an opportunity to show all staff members how much they’re appreciated for everything they do to keep UW -- on the main campus and throughout the state -- functioning and providing a top-notch educational experience to thousands of students.

Doyle was named the UW Staff Employee of the Third Quarter this past year. She has been the College of Arts and Sciences marketing and communications specialist since summer 2023, handling duties including website work; production of media releases, posters, programs, invitations and the college’s Elevations magazine; social media management; and development of student recruitment materials.

Also honored today with the Presidential Excellence Award was Sena Krula, the College of Business’s outreach and engagement coordinator. She builds and strengthens relationships with the college’s alumni as well as with government, industry and community stakeholders.
