UW College of Business Selects Reimann as 2026 Distinguished Alumnus

Richard “Rick” Reimann
The University of Wyoming College of Business has selected Richard “Rick” Reimann
as its 2026 Distinguished Alumnus, recognizing his leadership in accounting, business
and community service across Wyoming.
Reimann will be honored during the 75th College of Business Recognition Day Friday,
April 24.
A Casper native, Reimann earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from UW in 1982
and has built a career spanning more than four decades in public accounting and trust
services.
He began his career with Fox and Company in Casper before becoming a partner at Stack
and Associates and later joining Macy & Associates in 2002. The firm, now known as
Lenhart, Mason & Associates, is where Reimann served as managing partner for 10 years
before retiring as a partner in December 2025. He continues to assist the firm on
a part-time basis and serves as chief executive officer of Wyoming Trust Company,
which he helped establish in 2010.
Reimann has focused his work on estate and trust planning while serving clients across
Wyoming’s agriculture, oil and gas, and professional sectors. He also has been active
in professional and community service, serving as president of the Wyoming Society
of Certified Public Accountants and representing the state on the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants governing council.
He was a founding board member and president of Court Appointed Special Advocates
of Natrona County and has been a member of the Casper Rotary Club for 40 years, including
serving as president. Reimann and his wife of 39 years, Dorothy, also are active members
of Trinity Lutheran Church. They have two children and two grandchildren.
The Distinguished Alumnus Award honors graduates of the College of Business who have
achieved professional success while demonstrating leadership and service in their
communities.
