The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will consider a proposed plan for UW employee
pay raises and receive reports on a variety of topics during the board’s regular meeting
Wednesday-Friday, May 13-15.
The meeting will take place at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. Public sessions
of the board and its committees may be observed by the public in person or at https://wyolinks.uwyo.edu/2026/TrusteesMay26/.
Committees of the board will meet Wednesday in several rooms of the Gateway Center,
starting at 7:30 a.m. with the Biennium Budget Committee, which will be coming off
of two days of annual budget hearings with units of the university.
Thursday’s meeting of the full board will begin at 8:30 a.m. with an executive session.
The public session is expected to start at 10:45 a.m.
The board will accept public testimony on any topics at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Presentations to the board scheduled Thursday will address topics including artificial
intelligence, cybersecurity, experiential learning and UW student leadership institutes.
With a biennial legislative appropriation of $27.7 million to increase compensation
of UW employees, UW’s administration will present a plan to distribute the first broad-based
salary increases since the 2022-23 fiscal year. The plan is slated for consideration
by the full board Thursday afternoon.
Another executive session is scheduled at 8 a.m. Friday at the Gateway Center, with
the board’s business meeting starting at 9:15 a.m.
Trustees will participate in UW’s spring graduation and commencement activities Thursday
and Friday afternoons, as well as Saturday and Monday.
