Most business owners don’t know their company’s true market value until it’s too late to impact it. Small-business owners, entrepreneurs and startups will have the opportunity to better understand their businesses’ value Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Jules Francesca will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar titled “You Deserve Options: Understanding What Your Wyoming Business is Worth and What You Can Do With It” from 6-7 p.m. To register, go here. Cost is $15.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Designed for business owners at any stage, the session will break down how buyers and SBA lenders actually evaluate a company, moving past guesswork and emotional attachment.

Topics that will be covered include market reality versus owner valuation; value drivers and red flags; SBA financing realities; and exit and transition paths for businesses.

Francesca, senior broker adviser and valuations specialist with Rocky Mountain Business Advisers, brings more than a decade of enterprise marketing strategy and executive brand leadership to the organization. As the founder of her own marketing firm -- which served mid-market companies ($1 million to $50 million in revenue) across 28 industries -- she understands the operational, financial and strategic decisions business owners navigate daily. Today, Francesca leverages her expertise in operations, brand health, systems and risk management to guide business owners through successful valuations, sales and ownership transitions.
