University of Wyoming faculty, staff, students and members of the public are invited to the 2026 “State of the University” address today (Sept. 8) from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.
Opening remarks will be provided by Gov. Mark Gordon. President Shane Reeves’ inaugural address will be followed by a reception in Pokes Pub in the basement of the Union. A livestream of the event also will be available via YouTube and WyoCast at this link.
UW employees have been granted 1.5 hours of release time to attend. The scheduling of release time should be a collaborative discussion between employee and supervisor to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the unit.
