The University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Physical Sciences Outreach Office is partnering with the Energy Education Foundation from Texas to bring its hands-on EnergyXP program to Wyoming for a special demonstration next week.

The public is invited to a special EnergyXP open house Thursday, Oct. 15, from 6-8 p.m. in UW’s Engineering Education and Research Building.

Faculty, staff, K-12 teachers, administrators and others are invited to experience the program firsthand, learn more about this innovative approach to energy education and explore the possibility of bringing EnergyXP to more Wyoming classrooms through the college’s outreach.

Light refreshments will be provided, along with a hands-on program demonstration.

As a part of the program’s outreach efforts, students in Cheyenne, Casper and Laramie will have the opportunity to experience the program during school visits throughout the month as well.
