I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student (Family Nurse Practitioner) and I will graduate in May, 2025. 

I have spent a lot of time reading research, and I was interested on how the how actual research came to be. Also, diabetes is extremely prevalent in patients all across the country, so understanding how to serve them better will make me a more well-rounded provider.

I would like to work in dermatology and/or primary care after graduation. As I touched on earlier, diabetes is extremely prevalent and understanding more about this patient population will be beneficial for myself and for my patients.
