All Basic BSN students are assigned a career adviser from the Basic BSN faculty for career advising needs throughout the program.
Verify current career adviser through WyoWeb (Student Records, Academic Profile) making sure to select the current term.
If having problems/conflicts with assigned career adviser, contact Basic BSN advising office at basicbsn@uwyo.edu, 307-766-4292, Room 335, School of Nursing, to request a change of career adviser.
At minimum, all Basic BSN students have the expectation to schedule an appointment with their career adviser at least once per academic year as outlined and suggested below:
Spring semester for those completing courses in the freshman and sophomore years of the Basic BSN curriculum.
Fall semester for those completing courses in the junior and senior years of the Basic BSN curriculum.
However, career advising appointments may occur at any time throughout a given semester
and/or as identified by individual faculty advisers. As needed and/or at the request
of the faculty career adviser, additional appointments may be scheduled. (see Scheduling Advising Appointments).
Utilize your career adviser to discuss and learn more about.
