Research Statement

My research optimizes drilling fluids and cement for oil and gas, geothermal, carbon storage applications, etc. I specialize in environmentally friendly fluids and cement formulations, using nanoparticles to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability. I believe by integrating advanced laboratory characterization with machine learning and digital twin validation, my work enhances drilling automation, wellbore integrity, and sustainable energy transitions. I advocate for energy integration, where drilling remains the key enabler of subsurface resources development.

Research Interests

  • Drilling Fluids and Cementing
  • Nanoparticle-Enhanced Fluids and Emulsions
