April 23, 2014 — University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy Assistant Professor of Medicinal
Chemistry Guanglong He, Ph.D., has received two Faculty Grant-in-Aid Awards—one from
UW and one from the College of Health Sciences. The UW award is for his research titled,
“The Obligatory Role of Kir6.1 in Exercise-Induced Reperfusion Recovery,” and the
CHS award funds his research titled, “CARD9 Regulates Obesity-Induced Cardiac Mitochondrial
