July 15, 2014 — Stephanie ‘Stevi’ Sy (Pharm.D. ’10), from Casper, Wyoming, has been
elected president of the Wyoming Pharmacy Association (WPhA). Sy is also the recipient
of the 2014 McKesson Leadership Award. She has been involved in many aspects of pharmacy
in her career, is an outstanding advocate for her profession, and is an excellent
role model for all pharmacists.
Sy is the director of pharmacy for the Wyoming Behavioral Institute. She graduated
from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy in 2010. While a student, Sy was
president of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists from
2008–2009. She was also awarded the McKesson Leadership Award as a student in 2009.
In 2013, Sy received the Pharmacist Mutual Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award.
