Students attending the Phi Delta Chi (PDC) Pharmacy Fraternity 15th Leader-Development Seminar August 6–10 in Florida are (L to R) Megan Lybeck, Julia Olson, Ashley Francis, and Kevin Giang.August 14, 2014 — University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy P3 student Ashley Francis, from San Anselmo, California, attended the Phi Delta Chi (PDC) Pharmacy Fraternity 15th Leader-Development Seminar August 6–10 in Tampa, Florida. Francis represented the UW Alpha Mu Chapter at the national meeting. The chapter was recognized for earning a 100 percent Achievement Award for reports completed throughout the 2013–2014 school year and also placed fifth for the Brotherhood Award.

Representatives from pharmacy programs throughout the United States attended the meeting where they were able to develop relationships with other PDC pharmacy students, alumni, and national officers. During the meeting, numerous workshops covered leadership topics for both individual and group development. Following up on her experience, Francis will share ideas, connections, and knowledge she gained at this conference with other PDC Brothers and future members from the UW School of Pharmacy.
