September 15, 2014 — The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy is pleased to welcome the following new faculty and staff.

Allison Mann, Pharm.D., BCPS

Allison Mann is a clinical assistant professor of pharmacy practice. She received a Pharm.D. from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2009. Mann completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Colorado Hospital, located in Aurora, Colorado. Her practice site is at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, Colorado, where she practices as an inpatient clinical pharmacist with the internal medicine service and residency program. Mann was previously a unit–based clinical pharmacist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she also served as adjunct faculty for both the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University Schools of Pharmacy.

Leena Myran, Pharm.D., BCPS

Leena Myran is a clinical assistant professor of pharmacy practice. She received a Pharm.D. degree from UW in 2012. Myran completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in 2013 at the Billings Clinic Hospital in Billings, Montana. Her practice site is at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center working with the UW Family Medicine Residency Program. Myran teaches in the therapeutics courses and her clinical and research interests include infectious diseases, critical care, family medicine, and care transitions.

Jared Bushman, Ph.D.

Jared Bushman is an assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences. He received a B.A. in biology and biochemistry in 2003 from the University of Utah, and an M.S. in 2005 and a Ph.D. in 2009 in biomedical genetics, both from the University of Rochester Medical Center. Bushman was previously an assistant research professor at Rutgers University in Piscataway Township, New Jersey. He will be teaching pathophysiology.

Dorie Gallegos, B.A.

Dorie Gallegos is the new staff assistant. Gallegos has worked at UW for more than 19 years. She was previously the office associate for the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education in the College of Education, where she worked for nine and one-half years. Gallegos graduated from UW in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
