Bio
Dr. Hunter received two BA degrees in 2000 from the University of Wyoming in German
and Zoology/Physiology while completing the Honors Program. She then received her
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wyoming in 2004. Her practice site
is the Drug Information Center housed in the School of Pharmacy in Laramie, Wyoming.
Her research interests include interprofessional, patient-based care and the impact
of pharmacy students’ intervention on patient outcomes. Her academic interests are
focused on interprofessional education. She lectures throughout the pharmacy program
and offers elective courses and rotations in Drug Information.
Dr. Hunter answers medication-related questions from Wyoming citizens and University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy alumni and preceptors. Dr. Hunter is actively involved in AACP, NCPA and WPhA. She serves as the NCPA student chapter faculty advisor.
