Philosophy in Literature: Utopia/Dystopia

Instructor: Harvey Hix
Delivery Method:
Traditional In Person
Meeting Times:
MWF 12:00p -12:50p

What will the future bring? What social/political conditions will I face? What natural/environmental conditions? You and I are not the only people who have ever tried to imagine a future and prepare ourselves for it. In this course, we will read and reflect on several notable utopias or dystopias, some philosophical and some literary, toward the aim of refining our own future imagining and present decision making.
