Philosophy Club

Who we are: The Philosophy Club is a social organization for all interested students, especially philosophy majors and minors, who are interested in discussing philosophical topics outside the traditional classroom setting.  Former students, graduate students, interested community members, etc., are also welcome to attend meetings.

 

What we do: Topics and activities of the club vary from week to week.  For some meetings, e.g., we'll discuss backward inferential commitment in autonomous discursive practices, while, for other meetings, we'll watch a movie and afterwards discuss its philosophical themes.  Maybe we'll exchange papers we've written for philosophy courses and give each other feedback.
