My family and I moved to Laramie in August of 2017 after spending ten years teaching in the Department of Agriculture at West Texas A&M University. During my time as an instructor, I enjoyed a joint appointment with Texas AgriLife Extension as the Horticulture County Extension Agent. I have always enjoyed the classroom, so after our move to UW I decided to return to the classroom as a student rather than the teacher to pursue my doctorate in Plant Sciences.
I joined the UW Department of Plant Sciences faculty in January of 2021 as an assistant lecturer. I love being back in the college classroom teaching and helping UWYO students take the next step toward obtaining their degrees and ultimately, their professions. Go Pokes!
