FAQ and Information

Current UW students with a valid WyoOne ID are eligible to receive relax and recharge services.

Do not use the massage chair if you have any of the following health issues: thrombosis, aneurysms, acute varicosity, dermatitis or skin infections, acute neck sprain; or if you are in the early stages of pregnancy or have recently given birth.

Do not use the massage chair if you have injuries (ribs, feet, hands, head, shoulders, back, etc.).

Do not attempt to use the chair or relax pod if you have a fear of enclosed spaces.

Relax and recharge services are available by appointment only to current UW students. You must show a valid WyoOne ID card when you check in.

30-minute appointments are available during regular Wellness Center hours.

There is no charge for current UW students.

Appointments can be scheduled online, by calling the Wellness Center at 307-766-9355 or stopping by the Wellness Center at 107 Half Acre. Appointments can be scheduled up to one week in advance.

One appointment per student per day is allowed.

The Wellness Center reserves the right to set limits on the number of appointments a student can schedule in order to accommodate all UW students.

If you are more than 5 minutes late for a reserved session, your session will be forfeited.

If you miss two appointments without canceling in a semester, you will not be allowed to schedule another appointment for the rest of the semester.

No food or drinks allowed.

Remove all watches and jewelry from hands and arms, and items from pockets.

Clean, dry clothes are required - no sweaty or wet clothes.

Clean, dry socks are required and provided.

Please silence electronic devices and refrain from talking.

In the massage chairs there is a noise-canceling sound system already set up. If you want to bring in something of your own, use headphones and a volume level only you can hear.

No photographs.

No aromatherapy or scented items.

Wipe down the chair or pod after use with provided cleaning materials. Help us keep our equipment nice for everyone!

If you have a question or concern, please inform the Wellness Center staff.

If you choose to nap, or feel that you might, set a vibrating alarm.
