What do we do?
Wellness Ambassadors organize and plan campus wide events and programs to promote the health and wellbeing of students here at the University of Wyoming. Wellness Ambassadors focus on specific areas of wellness that impact academic and personal success. These areas include mental health, nutrition, physical activity, sexual health and violence, alcohol and other drug awareness, sustainability, body image and financial wellness. As a Wellness Ambassador, you can staff a resource table, promote Wellness Center programs and services, organize and participate in health awareness events and educational programs, serve as a resource person, conduct health screenings, and participate in health coalitions and advisory boards, amongst other options. Our goal as a student-led organization is to provide training, support, and opportunities for UW students to become leaders in campus health promotion.
