CoLaborative for Intersectoral Modeling of the Earth System (CLIMES)

CLIMES is an interdisciplinary, collaborative space for regional, intersectoral modeling of Earth’s systems.

The lab provides quantitative, computational projections of regionally relevant environmental futures for Wyoming and beyond.

We produce innovative research with practical applications, aiming to make a real difference in how we understand and respond to environmental change.

Goals

Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across different sectors & departments
Advance modeling of Earth's Systems
Provide relevant local-to-regional-to-continental scale projections of changes in Earth's Systems that may be used in decision making
Produce open science and encourage collaboration within the scientific community
Education & outreach on advanced modeling techniques and projected changes in Earth's Systems
