The Stable Isotope Facility offers a variety of services.

Sample prices are organized by internal on-campus users and external educational users.

  • Please contact SIF before submitting soil samples

  • The GC-C-IRMS compound-specific analysis is available to qualified University of Wyoming researchers.  UWSIF DOES NOT perform these analyses. 

  • Non-Research educational prices are available; please inquire.

  • Please inquire about commercial pricing

‡If submitting samples for solid hydrogen analysis please contact SIF before sending.  Hydrogen analysis can be complicated because organic hydrogen readily exchanges with atmospheric hydrogen.  Special procedures must be followed in order to get accurate results.  Special preparation charges may apply.
