Your hub to finding resources to support emotional and mental health.
On this page, you will find support services related to emotional and mental health. As a critical topic, the University of Wyoming offers a variety of free and confidential options to help you find access to resources to support your mental wellbeing.
The UCC offers a wide range of confidential student counseling services, including single-session and group therapy, self-assessment and crisis intervention.
Are you concerned about a fellow student’s health, wellbeing or safety? Consider filling out a UWYO Cares Report and the Dean of Students Office will take appropriate follow-up measures.
In addition to the UW Counseling Center, we offer other resources such as the Psychology Center, the WellSpring Counseling Clinic and the Dean of Students Welfare Coordinator.
If you or someone you know is in crisis or contemplating suicide, please contact the Crisis Intervention support team immediately. Crisis Intervention & Support is available to students at any time.
Monday - Friday regular business hours, call (307) 766-2187 and inform our receptionist
of your crisis. For hours, visit the Crisis Intervention & Support page.
For after-hours crises, call (307) 766-8989.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
