What is Health Services Administration?

Health services administration is a field that examines how healthcare systems and organizations are created, studied and managed. From being clinical managers to federal, state and local health department professionals, health services administrators handle the behind-the-scenes obligations for productive healthcare clinics, departments and facilities.

 

While earning your concentration in Health Services Administration, you will develop the qualities necessary for success in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. You will delve into subjects such as healthcare quality, healthcare leadership, biopharmaceutical regulations and health economics while preparing to successfully transfer to graduate programs in pursuit of related degrees.

Admission Requirements

UW Casper undergraduate degree programs are subject to the general undergraduate admission criteria at UW.

 

Application Deadline

The University of Wyoming aims to provide easy access to undergraduate admission for students, which is why they have a rolling basis for most undergraduate programs. This allows students to apply at any time before the upcoming semester begins. However, students must confirm their enrollment by May 1 for fall start dates if they wish to be considered for any scholarships or commitments awarded by UW.
