About the Entomology Graduate Program
The graduate minor in entomology offers students pursuing related degrees a unique opportunity to deepen their expertise in insect biology. This specialty provides valuable context for many careers in agriculture, human health, research and ecology.
Through interdisciplinary coursework, advanced labs and faculty mentorship, graduate students gain expert-level training in entomology. The minor is formally recognized on each student’s diploma and transcript, signifying their formal training in the subject.

Students must pursue a graduate-level degree at the University of Wyoming to declare an entomology minor.
Get access to the only research collection of insects in the entire state! Our entomology students, in addition to faculty and visiting researchers, utilize the museum and its collection in their research.
