UW Art Museum to Offer Family Workshop Feb. 4

The University of Wyoming Art Museum will host “Family Saturday Workshop” Saturday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m.-noon.

“Family Saturday Workshop” will be led by the Art Museum’s trained teaching artists and educators to help families explore making art with traditional and cutting-edge materials inspired by the 42nd annual Juried UW Student Exhibition. The workshop is free for families and individuals of all ages.

Through its “Museum as Classroom” approach, the UW Art Museum places art at the center of learning for all ages. Located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie, the museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday hours are extended to 7 p.m. February through April and September through November. Admission is free.
