‘Conversations with the Chief Diversity Officer’ This Month at UW

Members of the University of Wyoming and Laramie communities have opportunities to share their thoughts with Emily Monago, UW’s new chief diversity officer, during a series of meetings this month.

UW’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host “Conversations with the Chief Diversity Officer” to discuss challenges and opportunities to advance diversity and inclusion efforts at the university with campus community input.

The conversations are taking place by constituent groups. Here is the schedule:

-- UW staff -- Wednesday, Oct. 18, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Wyoming Union Family Room.

-- UW faculty -- Wednesday, Oct. 25, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Wyoming Union West Ballroom.

-- Laramie community -- Thursday, Oct. 26, 6-7 p.m., Coe Library, Room 506.

Light refreshments will be served at each gathering.
