The University of Wyoming Art Museum will offer a three-session, Friday-morning preschool class Nov. 3, 10 and 17 from 10-11 a.m. each day.

Each session will be led by the Art Museum’s trained teaching artists and educators to help preschool students explore a variety of materials to create unique works of art.

The Art Museum’s November class is titled “Making Masks.” Students will use the exhibition “Changing Faces: Traditional and Contemporary Mexican Masks” to study masks from Mexico and around the world. Participants will use color, shape and pattern to create a variety of masks.

The three-session class is $20 per student. Online registration is available at www.uwyo.edu/artmuseum/learn/prek-12_programs/upcoming-classes-events/. The deadline to register is Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m.

For more information, call Heather Bender, master teacher, at (307) 766-3515, or email hbender1@uwyo.edu. Visit the Art Museum website at www.uwyo.edu/artmuseum or follow the museum on Facebook.
