Police to Train in UWs Wyo Hall Wednesday

Members of the Laramie Police Department’s special response team are scheduled to participate in training activities on the University of Wyoming campus Wednesday, Feb. 5.

The training will take place in Wyoming Hall from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. The team includes members of the UW Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.

The UWPD says the campus community should not be alarmed at the presence of armed officers and numerous police vehicles on campus that day.
