UW’s Jacoby Golf Course Closure Extends Through April 30

April 8, 2020

With Gov. Mark Gordon extending his closure orders through April 30 to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, the University of Wyoming’s Jacoby Golf Course will remain closed until at least April 30.

“Gov. Gordon asks that we all stay home, wash our hands, maintain social distancing and not go anywhere unless we have to. We are attempting to do our part so that the lives of children, grandparents, health care workers and citizens will stay protected during this tenuous time,” says Joe Jensen, director of Jacoby’s golf operations. “The University of Wyoming Jacoby Golf Course very much looks forward to the day when we can be operational and provide a safe and boosting community recreational activity -- one that we all can look forward to.”

The university will continue to assess the situation this month to determine when Jacoby Golf Course can open this season. Look for future announcements regarding details and the schedule for the course opening.
