UW Libraries Offers Contactless Curbside Pickup

University of Wyoming Libraries has started a contactless pickup service for the university community.

UW faculty, staff and students may request circulating materials from Coe Library, Brinkerhoff Geology Library, the Learning Resource Center and the Library Annex and arrange to pick up items outside Coe Library. Physical library branches remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“In addition to extending due dates, increasing access to electronic resources and digitizing print materials, we wanted to find another way to better serve the UW community,” says Shannon Person, Coe Library Help Desk manager. “While the service is currently not available to the public, we do encourage local, non-UW-affiliated patrons to take advantage of the Albany County Public Library Grab & Go program.”

To use the contactless Curbside@Coe pickup service, locate available materials in the Libraries Catalog and use the “Hold for Me” button to place a request. When materials are ready, a notice will be sent with instructions to call the Coe Library Help Desk at 766-3190 to make an appointment for pickup.

The walk-up, contactless appointments are available from 10 a.m.-noon, Monday through Friday.
