UW Libraries Requests Volunteers for Caf of Poetry Readings Event

The University of Wyoming Libraries is offering a free virtual program series about African American poetry and is seeking volunteers to read poems for the Café of Poetry Readings event in October.

Approximately 30 poems have been selected to be read that will provide an overview of more than 250 years of poetry. UW students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to read poems.

Those interested in reading poems for the event should email Cynthia Hughes at chughes5@uwyo.edu by Tuesday, Sept. 8. Hughes will schedule times for volunteers to record poetry readings in Coe Library’s One Button Studio.
