UW Student Housing Design Topic of Thursday Meeting

The proposed interior and exterior designs of planned new student housing at the University of Wyoming are the topic of a meeting of the UW Board of Trustees’ Facilities Contracting Committee Thursday, April 8, at 7 a.m.

Also on the agenda is review of recommendations on the exterior design of a planned parking facility at the location of the current Ivinson parking lot.

Replacement of UW’s outdated residence halls is a top construction priority of the university. The Wyoming Legislature has authorized construction of new housing and dining facilities, to be financed primarily through issuance of bonds, west of 15th Street near the Wyoming Union and Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center.
