EORC Commissioner Bebout to Receive Bill Daniels Ethical Leadership Award

Eli Bebout, a member of the Wyoming Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission (EORC), has been selected to receive the 2022 Bill Daniels Ethical Leadership Award.

The EORC and the University of Wyoming’s Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI) celebrate this award with Bebout and his family, EORI Director Lon Whitman says.

“We are exceedingly grateful for Commissioner Bebout’s service, contributions and leadership with the EORC and his support of EORI,” Whitman says. “Commissioner Bebout has tirelessly offered his support, attention and expertise to the EORC and brings a wealth of experience, direction and insight to EORI. Congratulations are in order for Commissioner Bebout, who is well deserving of this award.”

Bebout, of Riverton, served for many years in the Wyoming House and Senate. The UW alumnus is an engineer, oilman and businessman.

Created in 2016, the Bill Daniels Ethical Leadership Award recognizes Wyoming citizens who embody the ethical leadership principles exhibited by Bill Daniels, a cable television pioneer who started his professional career in Casper. The Bill Daniels Ethical Leadership Award is a joint venture among the Wyoming Business Alliance, UW’s College of Business and the Daniels Fund. The recipient is selected by a diverse group of Wyoming leaders who served as the selection committee.
