UW Employees Granted Release Time to Vote in General Election

University of Wyoming employees have a maximum of one hour of release time to vote in Tuesday’s Wyoming general election, in accordance with state law and UW policy. 

The 2022 general election is Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. To locate polling places, go here. 

The scheduling of release time should be a collaborative discussion between employee and supervisor to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the unit.
