Medical Laboratory Sciences Degree

The medical laboratory sciences bachelor’s degree:

  • it is the only four year program of it’s kind offered in Wyoming;
  • builds upon the existing two-year medical laboratory technician associate’s degree;
  • is an ideal option for a person who holds a bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, or other related sciences;
  • prepares individuals to conduct a broad range of medical diagnostic analyses and assays in hematology, immunohematology, chemistry and microbiology;
  • online hybrid delivery; live anywhere in the region while completing the degree.

Employment of clinical and medical laboratory workers is expected to grow 11 percent between 2018 and 2028, which is considered much faster than average compared to all occupations.
