Display Variations
The in-page navigation menu appears on most of the page templates. Depending on your template, navigation can either be the full-width of your page or housed in a second column of your intro section. Many templates have the choice between the two for maximum flexibility. By default, all templates are designed to collapse the navigation on page load, but this can be changed inside Properties > Parameters. If you have an extra long navigation menu, you might consider keeping it collapsed. While not typically recommended, you have the ability to turn navigation on or off on a page-by-page basis inside Properties > Parameters. The _nav.ounav file in each folder of your CMS site is what controls the navigation of all the adjacent pages in that same folder. For added usability, we have created a Main Page link in the top right of your navigation menu that will allow users to return to the main homepage of your website. This will always link to the main index page of your site's directory regardless of which page you are on.
Navigation Files are All Connected on Your Site!
All the navigation files within your site directory are connected, meaning they “talk”
to one another other to display the contents of each subfolder. It is important for
this reason that you are using the dependency tag when editing this file so that your
navigation recognizes the full contents of that subfolder.
