Daphne and Donuts

Daphne was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She completed her undergraduate degree with the University of Wyoming in Biology and her graduate degree with Colorado State University in Toxicology. She served 12 years with the Wyoming Air National Guard as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician, where she had the opportunity to treat enemy, allied, and US troops. She wanted the autonomy she lacked in her role with the military and separated to pursue medical school. She has worked in the Emergency Department for six years and in various other medical professions, which has given her a comprehensive education on the intricate roles of each medical profession in patient care. Daphne is a first-generation college graduate and the first in her family to attend medical school, having come from a long line of farmers and Chinese restaurant owners. Daphne enjoys anything health and fitness. She is a CrossFit and nutrition coach who recently started her journey to earn her IFBB professional card in a bikini. She enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her dogs. She is excited about the WWAMI program's opportunities and to return to Wyoming to provide care to those seeking it.
