Kyler Arriola (E-24)

Kyler was raised in Jackson, Wyoming where he came to appreciate anything outdoors. During his free time you could find him skiing, biking, running, kayaking, or simply laying out surrounded by the beautiful world we live in. In an effort to stay close to nature, he attended the University of Wyoming and received a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. After graduation he moved to New York City and had a successful career in modeling and acting, getting to participate in a tour of The King and I and travel for work. He decided to further his education and return to the mountains he adored and get a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wyoming where he worked as an advisor for the Fraternity and Sorority Life community and advisor to local businesses. While none of this sounds like a typical path to medicine, Kyler is anything but typical and throughout this time worked on bettering every aspect of himself so that one day he would be a well-rounded physician able to connect and care for every patient. From volunteering at hospitals to shadowing physicians and obtaining certifications, Kyler has used his multifaceted talents to connect to medicine on a deeper level, bringing music, ethics, and mentorship to the forefront of his approach. After grad school, Kyler worked as a medical assistant in dermatology finding his fit within medicine and seeing how his unique experiences can better patient care. He cannot wait to continue this journey and work to continuously learn how he can better serve his community.
