Maggie was born and raised just outside of Sheridan, Wyoming. This is one of the places she learned to love and appreciate the diversity of nature. She grew up hiking, skiing, and camping in Wyoming and Utah. Maggie attended Columbia University in the City of New York where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. While fulfilling her undergraduate degree, Maggie competed in the school's rock climbing club, researched memory and consolidation, led students as a part of Artists Reaching Out, and volunteered at the Mount Sinai Emergency Department. Since graduating in 2024, Maggie has worked in Denver, CO at the University of Colorado Hospital's Medical Progressive Care Unit as a Patient Care Assistant. Through this position, she developed a deep understanding of the patient experience and the teamwork that goes into healthcare. In her free time, Maggie enjoys baking sourdough, traveling, yoga, backpacking, and rock climbing.
