Linsey grew up in Evanston, WY. She had an untraditional path into medicine. After attending university in Utah for one year, she returned to her hometown and was introduced to medicine while working as a receptionist in the clinics at Evanston Regional Hospital. After a few months, she completed a course in medical assisting and became a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, working in that capacity for the next 3 years. She was introduced to a love of medicine and patient care at this time and eventually decided to return to school and start on the path to becoming a physician. She attended Western Wyoming Community College and transferred to the University of Wyoming where she received her Bachelor of Science in physiology. She has been working on and off in Evanston as a medical assistant for a total of 7 years for Evanston Regional Hospital, Sterling Urgent Care, and Southwest Wyoming ENT, in addition to her education. She believes in a culture of respect for all patients and looks forward to pursuing her medical career. Linsey enjoys fishing, baseball, reading, and spending time with her wonderful new husband in her free time.
